Radiant Heat Panels
Radiant heat panels are slowly, yet steadily, replacing forced-air heating systems for a number of reasons. They are easy to install, heat up quickly, do not need a blower to circulate heat, and are cheaper to operate and maintain.

These heating boards, which can be installed either on the ceiling, walls, or floors, radiate their heat to cooler surfaces without heating the space in between them. Regardless of where they are installed, they can be heated by air channels, electric power, or heated water. Of these three, the last two are most commonly used.
Electrically powered systems are quite simple in design. Those that are heated with water require a little bit more work. A boiler to heat the water has to be installed. It may utilize any energy source to heat the water. It could be natural gas, wood, methane, gasoline, solar energy, or electricity. Along with the boiler, PEX pipes, which are corrosion-free and chlorine and scale-resistant, will also have to be installed beneath the boards.
