Pex Fittings
Using PEX tubing requires that the tubes be connected to the final hook up point. Connection fittings are used to hook up the water supply lines to washers, refrigerators, toilets and sinks. These connections come in many different sizes and thread designs depending on the point of connection. These connections are usually either copper or nickel plated connections. Some are designed to be push connections while other requires a special tool for crimping and sealing the connection.

There are different types of unions. Some have valves that permit the cut- off of water before connecting to a sink. Others have diverters which allows for the distribution to different points of use. An example of this is the connection of the ice maker in the refrigerator and the drinking water supply in the door of the refrigerator. The majority of the connections are simple to make with a minimal amount of effort.
